Hoover upright U1104 how to dismantle

Hi there guys...can anyone help. I want to dismantle my Hoover U1104 and I cant see how to get the motor out. I have removed the bottom plate, agitator and wheels etc and yet the motor assembly doesn't want to budge. I can see that there is some mastic type sealant where the front plate joins the body but I think there is more to it than that, a hidden screw perhaps? Can anyone let me into the secret? I would be very grateful.

There are two screws on the other side of the motor (opposite side to the two that are obvious), which you need a long screwdriver to get to, once you have them out you should be able to pull the motor out, with some resistance from the sealant (don't forget to put some fresh sealant on the motor when you refit it to stop any dust spraying out)...

Thanks 2cv guy....thanks for your guidance. I needed to get hold of an extra long screwdriver...and all sorted now. I removed all 4 screws from the four corners of the motor housing and the motor then pulled off. This revealed just the one previously hidden screw which was holding the ducting onto the body of the vac. Then removed that, cleaned up all the parts, applied some new sealant and put her back together again. And she's viscious...she can suck for England. Thanks again.

No problem, glad you got it out okay...

I should probably have said that it's a good idea to completely strip the motor down to clear out the fluff and dust that collects in those style motors (someone didn't get the memo when designing the Junior 1334-onward style motor that dust & dirt goes into the bag, not the motor!!), all four of the Juniors I've had have always had motors packed with the stuff, could be a fire hazard, or at the very least cause the motor to burn out due to the lack of cooling airflow through the motor... :S
