Hoover turbopower plus arrived

Yes it did get in the way if the cleaner was carried by the handle. On early 2-speed models the diode often burnt out when used on the lower setting. Although no one seemed to ever use the slow speed to clean with, it did seem that the switch would get set to position 1 whilst being carried to and from storage, so that when it was plugged in the cleaner started up immediately, and on the lower setting.

Settle this matter? Oh dear. I hope you didn't think I was being pedantic. I wasn't. I'm just saying its a late one. Loving the red turbopower by the way. Not many stood the test of time.

I had the exact same model for a while - it's now been passed on to a very dear friend of mine to take pride of place in his Turbopower line up. Great machine and one that's getting rarer by the day!

It is a nice cleaner, just not sure whats going on with the height adjustment underneath, part of it flops out as seen in picture 6!

No i was just saying that it would be the easiest way to resolve the matter.
The red Turbopower is in good condition but it doesnt feel like a good build quality compared to other Hoover models.

Regarding the wheels popping out, it looks like part of the chassis is broken, but it's hard to see as its a bit fuzzy.

The red plastic was indeed brittle and other red cleaners did not last the time either, one being the TOL Hoover portapower. I saw one of those which was completely pie-crusted.
