Since it was so unbearably hot in Charlotte today, I decided to have a Hoover spa treatment center this afternoon with some of my favorite clients. Posed for glamour shots from left to right are:

the 150, 28, 63, 64 Citation, 67 and 69

If the weather stays like this, I will have to have Kirby, Air-Way and Electrolux spa days too!

Oh my John, that could be taken as a bit salacious! However, the 69 does fit in ones hand very comfortably with it's cushion grip and the balance is very nice.

From what I have heard, the 69 is popular with collectors and somewhat sought after.

i wonder

I notice how small the bag is on some of those how long can you clean whit it .I always wondered i prefer the brown Hoover 28 seems to have a much larger bag .

What would have been interesting is if Hoover, (while it was still really Hoover), did a retro line of machines. Old machines in new colors. Like the 150 in Neptune Green or 825 in the same red used on the 29. The newer machines could have incorporated current technology making them lighter, more efficient and using a disposable bag.

The convertible colors could have been resurrected on retro coffee can models and even the tanks. The tanks could have been vintage style with new power nozzles, again, using new technology. When the connie was brought back it seemed to do alright although arguably it needed a power nozzle to compete in todays world.
