Today I went to an estate sale and saw some vacuums. There was a Eureka Bravo II sitting at the street for some reason, and as I walked up to the sale I saw some more. A Eureka Mighty Mite, a Shop Vac and a green Hoover Slimline!

I would like a Slimline, but I didn't see the hose or attachments anywhere and the price was $6. I might go back tomorrow when it's half price day, but I was wondering how hard it is to find the hose for a Slimline?

Any idea on this?

Also, I didn't make it back to the sale today. But if it is worth getting, do you think the estate sale organizers would think it weird if I call or email and ask if they still have it? They live right around the corner from me.

"same hose"

In most cases same hose, bags, wands, many attachments, wheels, motor, switch and more.Great example of same parts making a standard or deluxe vac.And same suction so the dirt would not know the difference even if your checkbook did.

Well, I emailed the estate sale company, and they said that it's still available and that I can call and get it. If I can just find a hose for it. I did not open it so I don't know if there may actually be the attachments inside.

I agree it appears that the hose is the same on the Slimline and Portables.
