The belt that holds the bag on in my (I could really leave this blank as I'm sure you all know it by now!) 1977 HOOVER Senior Ranger is very badly cracked and split, to the point where it could snap at any time.

So I went on eBay two minutes ago to look and see if I could get another one, but for the life of me didn't know what to search for other than "bag belt". Is there a correct term for it that would get me the result I require ?

I use the spring retainers like that in my Sanitaires, also used on the Baird dirt meters for Kirbys, I'd recommend them myself as they're a much tighter fit than a rubber belt, and they last forever too... :)

Link below is for one, dunno what they'll charge for posting, but as it's small it shouldn't be too much (but buy a few, they're handy!!)... :)

And a pic of one of my Juniors with a bag spring fitted... :P

I'll do that then, thanks!

I intend on buying a Junior some time soon anyway, so I'll splurge and buy two, ha ha.
