Hoover PowerMax U3729-910 question

Would anyone know where the two black flexible plastic strips go on the PowerMax upright? On my last PowerMax I disassembled the hood and it seems like these two strips fell out. I looked on the Hesco schematic and couldn’t find the part. I don’t think that they are for the bag support. I think that they are supposed to stop the rattling of plastic parts.
