I just picked up a Hoover Model 36 (tropical island green and pearl white) with its original outer bag at a thrift store for $5 and am interested in locating its original manual and attachments. I've done some research and found that the cleaner is one of the early ones since it has the larger metal hood medallion (prior to May 1966). The Model 36 was produced from 1966 to 1968.

Even if you don't have them I'd appreciate any information you can provide so I know what to look for. There's one Hoover convertible manual on eBay now but it doesn't appear to have a model associated with it. Was there a generic manual for the convertibles of that time?

Also, will HEPA bags work in it, and would a 4-row brush roll be safe to use without damaging the motor?
