@portible the big gap in time and mothimiser instructions not published again are no problen.I just want to thank you very much for posting these instructions.they mean so much to me. However, which thread would I find that 4 page mothmizer instructions in?

That big nut is, effectively a prototype of the Normal/High range adjuster on later models and is clearly intended to be set by a technician and not by the "typical" owner. I hope find the attached disassembly instructions to be interesting.
