I forgot I'd bought this, until it arrived today!

The hose is a rigid affair

Steve kindly dated this at March 2001 for me, then taught me how to do it! Very very late machine then!

Works very well. Currently stripped down, will bring the thread up to date. A few diferences between this and the older models I've found already though!

Week 10 2001, that really is an EOL model - 18 years after they first came out. that's some going for the Turbopower 1 style head. The TP2 only lasted 9 years or so in comparison.

My auto correct is soo crap on the Tablet, It made me write Integrals when I was meant type Instagram! I think
Loads of inappropriate stuff

I had a red one for a very short while and two of the blue ones (where strangely the handle snapped off the two blue ones). From what I can remember it was noisier than the 400 watt TP Junior and lacks the air freshener disc slider at the top of the bag compared to the TP soft bags.

Well, I never experienced anything, my Dc07 is an excellent machine in out multi floored terraced 3 story house with 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 front room, a conservatory, and it copes with all floors! I am going to buy another DC07 and a Kirby G5

Ryan I don't think using Shake 'n' Vac every once in a while will harm a vacuum cleaner but not all the time and I certainly would not want to use it for a bagless! What a mess!

I used Shake and Vac once with my U2604 when my daughter was sick on the carpet...

The old turbopower got it up well, and the carpet smelt great for the rest of the week until I could shampoo it at the weekend, but the TP was plastered in the stuff! Still is actually as I havent refurbed it yet, not even turned it on!

Tayyb - take the top handle off the cyclone and see if it's plastered the inside of the cones. That's how it starts!

Picked this up yesterday from freecycle. Should help me troubleshoot my U2334 that doesnt seem to want to make its motor work after a refurb! Wet is from my run to the house from the car, was tipping it down!

And, here is a video of the U1650 after a rebuild. Can fully strip and re-grease the top bearing on the amtek motors which is nice! Still very loud though!
