The Hoover Cleaning Tools

Although not as convenient to fit as tools on later models this arrangement would have produced excellent suction in the tools as an air tight seal is formed on the adaptor and the motor would spin up faster without the resistance of the brushroll

thanks guys

great pictures .I know they will fit most of the coffee can machines i just wondered which one they were made for i have a 700 its hose is black with red flecks in it i think where as this one is black with grey flecks really nice pictures though where do you find stuff like this

armature and new bearing back in and brushes refitted ready to put the lid on .i have never been happy with the rubber seal in front of the bearing its little more than useless so once the two motor halves are put back together i seal the whole thing with bathroom sealant its easily removed if you ever need the motor out again

all in

the refurbished brushroll back in the belt was fine so i put it back ready to put the base on .I just ran it and its perfect and quiet [thats if a Hoover junior can be quiet]

Great piece of kit there...Love the juniors. Reliable and perform well. Nice work on restoration :-)

hoover

wish i had a pound for everyone of these ive done in the last 40 years still prefer the older model with the round belt though this one has no beater bars so it wont make that droning sound that Hoover are famous for

Great restoration job you have done there Anthony .Have one of these Juniors in my collection too .Well done and a nice thought about giving the vacuum to the old lady at work .I bet she was so pleased with it after the Vax !!

That Junior looks absolutely stunning after the restoration.

Good work and what's more it has gone to a home where it'll get some use and more imporatantly has replaced a bagless vacuum! Win win.
