<span style="font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: medium;">I think a few of the Aero-Dynes had different logos (or none) on the rug tool. I have seen a few that did not match the rest. I think my 51 had only HOOVER in raised letters along the bottom of the rug tool.</span>

That's another on my list. Someday.
That brand new one there now sits on a shelf at Tom Anderson's home. It was a birthday gift. A real beauty, too.
It's true, that logo was only allowed to be brown, blue, before the HOOVER red became the norm. That's what we were told in Ohio.

A blast from my past the Hoover Holiday tank type vacuum

When I was 3.5 years old we moved from Chicago IL to Lake Zurich IL. WE had a 116.7301 Kenmore Commander my new neighbor Mrs.Lucy Luce had this model 415 Holiday cleaner. I always made it my business to know what vacuum cleaner other people had in their home as a boy. AS I got older I still paid attention to Lucy's vacuum & was almost as captivated by it as with our Kenmore. I remember after I had learned to read I read the data plate & learned that the Hoover Holiday was "made by Hoover in England". The rubber dusting brush was the same (looked liked Apex but was Royal fit all) as was used on Kenmore beginning with the 1954 model year. I understand that Mrs. Luce got exasperated & disenchanted with her Holiday because she was apparently picking up face powder etcetera thus sealing the ( insert) paper bag used inside the cloth Holiday bag making it run as though the machine was full. She told my mother in the back yard she was tired of the old junky thing & soon after that traded in the Holiday at Polk Brothers for the 86 Constellation which I have.

Addenda to my 09/04/ 2024 reply to model 415 tank.

I neglected to mention something very important . I was given a copy of the Holiday instruction folder back in 1994 from an official North Canton employee. I treasure it very much.
