I might help

Bonsoir Monsieur Björn ;-)

Although being a German, I was raised just 10 minutes away from the French border and I do speak French.
So I might be able to help you.

Please let me know what has happened so far (copy of contact e-mails and stuff) and I will see what I can do.

The French are extremely friendly once you meet them in person for closing a deal, but before that they are more than reluctant and shy - especially when dealing with payment details and bank accounts / let alone when not understanding a foreign language.

You know how it is these days worldwide: A silent shrug or turning the back on someone or not answering at all = THAT is the new "very friendly but no thanks" these days. Thanks to smart phones and similar family destroyers.

Björn, just copy me all you have got so far (especially phone numbers of the seller) and I will see what I can do (trying to melt them on the phone, hehe...)

BTW that electro power nozzle is an AEG adapted to Hoovers (which was very common during the 80s)

Cheers
Joe

Hi Björn
I also tried to contact the seller but I did not get any respons.
He probably doesn't want to package for shipping.
The french Poste service is very bad, they never take any care with packages.
Two months ago, I received a vacuum completely broken by the postman during the shipping.
Leboncoin is not bad website but most sellers refused shipping for important items.

Small package, they are ok but they refuse the bulky shipments.
Myself I would be very embarassed if I had to do a large shipment.

Safe shipment for large item would be quite expensive (Fedex, UPS, etc...)

There a few weeks ago I showed here a picture of a completely destroyed vacuum during the sending device. Thanks to the FRENCH postmen

Hi Olivier
Thank you so much for trying. It seems like they do not wanna sell at all.
I get that with french postal service. I told the seller that they only had to pack it up and that I would arange pickup and deleviery but they did not answer.
Joe alias "whirlpolf wrote to them aswell and he even could have made pickup but no answer, so sad.
I just hope that some that loves Hoovers will get that beautiful vacuum.

thank you for everything you have done.

All my worst expereinces always came from the FRENCH postal service.
They are employees of the public service, that is the reason of their total incompetence. They seem to interpret "Fragile" for "Throw it around some more".

This is typical of the French postal service. Real morons devoid of brains, like all incompetents who have job security.
Once again, you can see the result with the FRENCH postal services....

Nice result, isn't it !!!
