We went carbooting on Sunday, and I came away with an interesting little purchase.
Cleaner wise, there wasn't a lot. A red Turbopower, late 1990's run-out model wit hthe rocker switch on the main body, handle switch blanked off, no tools and pretty rough, and a Numatic NVQ-250, with more tape than hose on one stall (didn't ask the price), a Goblin Whispertone 1400 Electronic with no tools or hose. Seller wanted £10 for it, I left it! Saw a Hoover Airrane as well with no tools at all.
I did buy this for £4 though, a Hoover Freejet 12v cordless vac. Bought with the intent to give it to my girlfriends mum for her flat, I quite like it.
The filters are so clogged up that no suction comes out the base, so need a good wash, and the switch is faulty and cuts out randomly. I've had the switch apart about 3 times now, each time it behaves differently. I think I've figured it out now so will try again tonight.
Must be the most modern vac I've had from a car boot, but £4 and it works very well (well, WILL work very well!!)
