Truth is, the Hoover WindTunnel is in a way a Hoover DAM II, methinks. The configuration is pretty much the same, with a much better design of the brush roll cavity and bag chamber. The only things that I feel ended up worse are the unusable tool hose and the stark, mean-looking colours. Change the colours to some of the 1970's tones and offer a non-stretch attachable regular hose (8 feet) for above-the-floor cleaning, and a classic Hoover attachment set, and then you would have a great DAM II! 😊
 
Without question:

all of those attachments were the best ever made. Well, some might argue (I will NEVER argue in here, with anyone, especially those who love to
) but, I thought they were so well built. Just look at them compared to the newer ones. The Wind tunnel is like a DAM on steroids, come to think of it. [this post was last edited: 12/20/2016-15:05]
