OK, finally, here it is the (almost) all Oyster White Hoover Dial a Matic w/ power drive. It is made from about 85% NOS parts, the cast body, bag housing (front and rear), agitator, vacuum hose, power drive unit, rear wheels, power cord and handle grip are new old parts and the motor, handle tube, front panel, grip cap and all hardware were scavenged from various machines. It sucks dirt like a Hoover and it's pretty to look at. Once again many Thanks to John Gregory at Sweeper Central, he truly is a Hoover GOD (Yeah, I said it!) Here is the front....

I will not be going to the convention,I am too busy now since Real Estate is on the rise I can`t take off .Plus I really don`t think the convention is something I`d be interested in I love all 400+ vacuums I own and always buy sell and repair them but I don`t get into vacuums like most vacuum collectors do .I find it kind of strange from what I have seen in pictures of past conventions and the "Mini meets" but that's my opinion. Have a good time if you go :) I really want to go to Kirby for the 100th Anniversary I can`t wait to see the new Kirby (Avalir) if that's what it will be called .
