Now if anyone actually belived

I would purchase a "USED" Hoover convertible to put with my collection of 99% mostly purchased brand new by me back when they were being sold . If I want to buy a convertible today I buy NOS off of eBay like the last one i just bought for $300.00 off eBay U4421 .

I made a bet with a friend that said try and purchase this convertible and watch what happens .
I said to my friend nonsense nothing will happen I'll buy this Hoover and donate it to our local
Salvation Army . I told my friend I'll bet you $100.00 the sale will go through . Well my friend was
right and I lost $100.00 the friend is donating it to a local charity .

The friend then said watch someone chime in like they got over on you and they were happy again I said no way that will never happen heck they even brag all the time how they are so perfect and they couldn't possibly be acting like a child . Well it happened again I lost another $100.00 but that also will
be going to charity.

To think this would actually happen most would think oh no like I did . I was thinking no these are good people they couldn't possibly do something like that . I always look for the good in everyone but the god can't be in all . Very sad adults are acting childish and think it's so fun to get over on another.
That's where my good friend Karma comes in .

As I understand it from speaking with Shane..

The convertible was never promised to you Dan! Shane, only lives about 45 minutes from me. Vacuum collectors are a pretty small group. We all know each other for the most part. The reason Shane didn't get back to you is because you contacted him using his old email address. You can say what you want about me! I really don't care!

Well, Kenny, it is a great machine

As far as games, I never play them. It just might seem odd for anyone to go out of one's way to get a cleaner, for a rather large sum, only to donate it to a place that would sell it for, maybe $25.00. Any historical value would be lot at a thrift store.
I've known of people who say, "You MUST sell me that machine". Or, You "WILL" sell it to me. That doesn't always work out well.
Some also might get others to purchase a cleaner for someone else. a 3rd party, if you will. People have bought things for me when my Ebay Paypal account was compromised with mt computer. That was totally legit, however.
We'll talk soon, Kenny

Kenny, true!

Brains and games are not synonymous with intellect, or snobbery, nor politic's.
It's been the art of many failed deals though.

Is anyone going to the liquidation sale at the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic city?
It's going on now. I bet all the vacuum cleaners are sold already though.

John,

I rarely iron. I know many still do, and thats all well and good.
My ex used to iron his hair.
I must have been blind. Like 26 going on 13. Four years my senior.
I guess I was "biggly" blinded because he was also a game player. He also bragged about being great at things, even if they weren't great.

Thanks vacerator,

The collecting community is fairly small especially when people are local. Shane lives about 45 minutes from me. As I understand it the convertible was never promised to Dan. Dan was using Shane’s old email address. I'm not sure about donating the convertible to a thrift store. To the average buyer the convertible wouldn't be worth that much.

How it usually

Happens is first to respond they had interest should at least get a chance to purchase said item .
It is not the interested buyers fault the seller had an old email address.

Ken you may NOT be sure I'd donate it well I most certainly would as used vacuums from strangers have no place in my collection. Call it snobby or what ever it's MY collection and MY hard earned money
and only I have say with MY collection.

I can just imagine what went on as soon as my haters noticed my interest in this Hoover it was an experiment / bet and I thought better of fellow collectors and turned out I was wrong .
