Well I took the vacuum apart and I’m trying figure out if I’m actually doing this right? I didn’t use instructions surprisingly.

Well the new Hoover fan has finally arrived and I’m having a little hard time right now. I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to replace the old with the new. The fan bar is supposed to screw off.

It will take some substantial force.
Vice grips are pliers that stay locked in whatever you clamp them on with spring tension.

If you still can't get it while holding the fan, push a small screwdriver in this hole (backside of motor) to lock the Armature shaft.

Vacuumlad1650, I did that little trick you told me about and I got a little problem.☹️ I hope this won’t affect the vacuum’s performance. And I still haven’t got the frickin fan out.

Later today I’ll be making a YouTube video of the convertible high performance so y’all can hear how normal it sounds!
