Hoover Convertible 719 vs brand new Riccar Vibrance

I bought a Riccar vibrance vac today.. Of course works awesome it's brand new. Now I dunno if it's just buyers remorse or just me being undecisive but I can't decide if I wanna return it back to the vac shop where I bought it because I have my convertible 719 I bought from a collector and I love it.. Just wanted to know if you think the 719 does just a good job as the Riccar or is the Riccar a better vac?? Any suggestions or advise would be great..
Basically I feel I shouldn't have bought the Riccar because I have a great convertible 719. Help! Lol

I would bet that the Riccar has more suction power. I love Convertibles but those Riccars have a lot of power. Can you budget afford to keep both!!!

Keep the Hoover

You can bet your sweet wallet, that the Hoover Convertible will deep clean down to the nap below the carpet and the pad too, while the new one will not.

I'd keep the Hoover, less to maintain, and will outlast the new one by 40 years.

The Hoover Convertible is amazing at how well the machine can clean on how LITTLE power it uses-Keep in mind the Riccar-Simplicity motor is twice to 3 times the current draw of the Hoover.The Riccar-Simplicity will defintely beat the Hoover Convertible in hose use.The Hoover does that----KEEPS the AIRPATH SIMPLE-so it gets better efficency.The Riccar-Simplicty airpaths are more complex-so the efficiency goes down-and the dreaded side suction on the floor nozzle that so many new cleaner air vacuums use today.Becuase the clean air vacuums motor has to pull thru the filters and bag-as those get filled or clogged-the motor can overheat-On our Hoover-the motor has a SEPARATE fan to cool its motor.If its airpath is blocked-the motor won't overheat-and its motor turns slower.Bearings and motor brushes can last longer.For the side sucction air intake on modern floor nozzles-a savy Kirby salesman pointed it out-with the side machine you may be cleaning a path only a few inches wide-with center intake-the full width of the floor nozzle!I feel ANY direct air vacuum can do as well or outperform clean air ones using a smaller motor.
