Hoover concept one debut....

Hello vac fans as we all know the Hoover concept one debuted in 1978 does anybody know the exact timing as far as month? When it hit the market? Also which was the very first modeled produced?

The blue with blue plaid type bag and a rust with deep rust plaid type bag.

Here is a picture of the blue one, the ribbon is from the cleaning contest 2006.



Its definitely in my list of favorite Hoovers, somewhere after the 913 and the Guardsman.
