Hoover Celebrity — looking to buy!

Long story here, but by grandpa owned and operated Lawlor Rug Company, which was our cities only Hoover dealer, for many years. I’ve seen many Hoover models through the years and will only buy Hoover. I am in the market to track down, and purchase a Hoover Celebrity canister vacuum in goof condition with all the parts. If anybody has, or knows where one is, please reach out. I have scoured the internet with no luck. This would mean a great deal to me, and thank you in advance!

I don't have one to offer but I've seen them on eBay. It's also possible another member here might have one they'd be willing to part with. You just never know. With a little patience and persistence, your search will pay off. Good luck on your quest.

man!!

I just passed up one that you'd love today....looked like a slightly newer model than the one you posted a photo of b/c the buttons were larger and square vs the cylindrical ones. Darn! it was $10 including the powerhead. but I am in Colorado.

Hoover Celebrity II - Model S3079

You're welcome to one I have in Green, see photos, I will not charge you for the vacuum, just would need to pay shipping.

I have too many vacuums and been looking to let go of some I don't use, I'd like them to go to a good home and be used, etc.

I won't deal with eBay (too many issues with non-paying bidders even with feedback scores).

The vacuum is in excellent used condition for the age. The Crevice Tool is missing but I'm sure you can find another.

My zip code is 27587 (Wake Forest North Carolina). Let me know if you're interested. I would say the unit boxed and packed at about 40 pounds.

Non-Smoking home and there are no smells within the vacuum as well. I believe I purchased this at a local estate sale in NC, don't recall when, at least 5+ years ago.
