In the few spare minutes I have this week, I've been matching up hoses & nozzles to vacs, or at least identifying them if I can.
Broke open box of 'a plethora, a veritable cornucopia of attatchments and doo dads' that caught my eye from a big box under a table at the Dave & Pete Meet...Spent quite a while there in the near dark on the floor sifting through, snatching out anything that wasn't modern plastic. For now, here's the first 'mystery' pieces.
The small brush nozzle has HOOVER lettering raised on the bumper, all the wands have the same latch button mechanism and the crevice tool appears to be fibre. I would judge the shiny parts to be nickel plated, from their warm glow.
Who can precisely identify which model and year these belong to? I don't know...my best guess is a late 20s through 30s upright Hoover?
I'll post more accesories & bits from other mystery machines as I get them grouped
It was quite a haul. Although I did get the complete Filter Queen model 700 and the cardboard suitcase box of brown optional accessories (in fact I snatched 2 of everything) There remains at that place probably the same suite of FQ accesories/sprayers/foamer/hair dryer hood/massager/demother, etc in Salmon Pink and I'm sure Pete would be available to go bag 'em if someone has the need.
