Hoover Aria 1300 vacuum

I got this from a charity shop for a fiver!

Bag chamber was ful of crap

But that was soon fixed with the help of another brand of vacuum...

It came with 2 genuine bag packs

So a new one was fitted!

Lift the door and you find 2 tools!

These were nice little vacs. I believe they ran alongside the later Sensotronics and into the run of the Arianne (or whatever it was called!) and Alpina as the budget cleaner. I will post some catalogue pics with it in when I get home .

One of my neighbours had this cleaner for a good for years.

i had a yellow Aria with variable speed control - had it for many years and sold it on. The pull out filter grid is a great design though and Hoover eventually repeated similar design aspects with my other favourite cylinder, the Telios but not as well built. Quite a quiet vacuum, the old Aria and well made due to its weight. Only thing that I wasn't too keen on was the sheer size of it and for having the two castors on the underside with the fixed wheels at the back making it quite to control/steer.

Infact the Aria reminds me of an old SEBO C2 I have in the garage.

George - I used to use those yellow bags too but find the ones with the sealed ends far better and not as time consuming - the H7 Plus bags. They're the more modern type that won't require the plastic seal holder slid in.
