I know that this had been posted before in the past, but then they were down to $79.99...

Today they are down to $34.99 - And they are New and not Refurbs - Purchased two of them and a Dirt Devil Stick Vac -

One to play with, and one to hang onto unused - A short lived piece of history saved for the future - Think about it - What vacuum can you get for $34.99 Each, New -

Here is the link in case anyone wants to snag one - I think this price is for today only -

I already have two,

But I ordered another just for fun.

They are not great filtering machines, you do have to dump the very small dirt cup often, but they are a fun, quirky little vacuum.

I noticed this morning they went back up - Like I had said when I posted, it was a one day 30% off sale - They said it was 30% off the entire website - They called it the "deal of the day" -
When they were introduced in Canada two years ago, they were $499.99 and Home Depo had them on their website last year for $399.99 -

So Like I said, you can't go wrong for $39.99...

Hey

I caught the one day only part after i clicked on link. It may go on sale around black Friday. Business don't t want inventory on the books at the end of the year. So ill keep checking hoping it goes on sale again.

They are neat looking vacuums. I didn't realize they came with a separate dusting, fabric, crevice tool and a floor brush. I thought they had a 3 in 1 tool instead.

I would have to agree- I am sure they will either lower the price again, or have another sale...
Especially since that website is actually a T.T.I. website owned by the T.T.I. Company - It explains how it is so cheep -
They are probably selling them at the cost to manufacture the units - I am sure at $39.99 they still made a profit-
Dan

Went for it at $49.99

I paid $61 with tax and shipping. Although reception has been mostly poor, a new full-featured canister with a power nozzle and extra tools for that price doesn't exist.

I was initially very intrigued by these strange-looking vacs, so now I'll be able check one out see how it works. It looks like it will clean well, but be high-maintenance with it's small dirt cup, and inefficient compact dual cyclone setup. I'm sure TTI is abandoning this design altogether, but it looks like if they just addressed the machines flaws, they could have something special to offer.

If I had the space I would go for it. I love canisters and like the looks of it. I heard the hose/wand setup isn't all that great either. Kind of clunky. But it does come with 3 separate tools plus a floor tool according to the manual. And it is neat looking for sure.

I'd say it's well worth $61 for its uniqueness and something to mess with.

Hoover Air Revolve Canister Vacuum - $34.99.. SOME PICTURES

Hi All - I am sorry I did not post any pictures prior to this - I had my Shiny New Left Hip Replacement on October 3rd, so life has been living at the Kessler Outpatient Rehab !!!
.
I purchased two of the Air Revolves - One will never be opened, and other I opened for the pictures, and ran with only the hose to check the suction, and then it went back, into the box, unused -
.
So - Suction - Not all that great - I can not see this being a deep cleaner on carpets because the suction is barely acceptable and agin not all that great - To be honest, my Shark Lift-Around Pod felt like it had more suction then this Hoover - I was very surprised...
.
It does come with a different power nozzle then the Oversea's versions - It is the same WindTunnel small nozzle they use on all the other current canisters - We also get a second horse hair bare floor brush that does not come with the over seas versions -
.
If anyone wants to see any other specific pictures, let me know - I just loaded them at random - I packed the open one back up, but did not tape the box closed yet - I also will add that everything is very clunky - BIG TOOLS - Stupidly Oversized - Short Power Cord - 20-Feet... Short Hose -
.
With that Said - The fun Factor, and the Cool factor are there - If it like a Modern Day Roll Easy - I am not sure why it tanked in the US and Canada -
Again - What can you buy for $34.99!!! It is good for the money, but in no way is it worth the $300-400 they started at -
.
The Dirt Devil Stick was $13.99 and included the small electric Stair Power Head, and the 10" Electric Carpet Power Head - Again - What stick can you buy with all the goodies for $16.09 - Since I am giving that to someone I work with, I did not want to open it - Nothing really great about it - Just good for the Money...

I like the looks of it. I'd buy one if I had my own place and the space.

That power nozzle actually looks like an improvement over the UK one I saw in a video. It looked squeaky and clunky, and just not very impressive, although it did have a light to show when the brush was on.

I'm surprised they include so many attachments for a modern big box type canister. The horsehair floor brush looks pretty well designed.

So... the unit really is not that loud - The Power Head is actually louder then the canister - I only ran it held in the air to be sure it worked - I DID NOT use it on carpet...
.
There is a Crevice Tool, Dusting Brush, Upholstery Tool with Lint Picker Strips, a Horsehair bare floor nozzle, and the the strange bare floor tool two row rubber squeegee like strips, that I have no idea what you would use on...
.
But, The tools are HUGE - Between the gigantic hose handle and the very large tools, I think it would be clunky to do any type of detail cleaning with...
.
I am sure it would be fine for bare floors, carpet, and edge cleaning with the large crevice tool, but the opening is a weird almost triangle like opening - Maybe to large to do much good -

Two Model Numbers on this Vacuum.. Help please...

Hi Guys,

I want to pull the trigger and buy this Hoover and I saw there are Two Model numbers for the same vacuum. Does anyone know if there is any difference in the two other than the “plain box” or colorful store type box? SH40090CA and SH40090PC. The Last Two Letters are different, but online I can’t find any difference in either.

Do they both come with all the same tools and accessories and is it the same powerhead?

If anyone can help me, I’d appreciate it and is there anyone on here that bought one of each? I thought from the picture on Rexair (Greg’s) post he might have bought both as one is in a brown box and the other is in the colorful artwork box.

Thanks guys, Patrick

I missed out on this a few times as I debated and waited too long and it went up to $49 again, then down to $39 but now that it’s at $34.99 again and free shipping... I MUST buy one! Thanks

Actually - The Model number has NOTHING to do with what you get in the cartons as far as attachments -
.
All the attachments come with both models - It is simply the type of outer carton -
If you look at the pictures that I posted, One is a closeup of the carton showing the model # SH40090PC -
.
Here is the difference:
SH40090PC-Plain Carton-Plain Brown Outer Carton for QVC/HSN/Home Depot Type Sales-Plain white inner carton -
SH40090CA - Print Outer Retail Carton as shown in reply #15 in this thread - Actually both Cartons are shown in that picture - The PC Brown Plain Carton, snd the CA Printed retail carton -
.
According to TTI, And "PC" in the end of the model # is always a Brown Outer Carton - They has the same thing the First Devil Stick Vacs when I got one - One in a plain carton, one is a printed carton -
.
Hope this helps-
Dan

@danorob1

Thanks Guys!

Dan, I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly and I am happy to say I placed my order just now for the Hoover Air Revolve Canister Vacuum!! Like you said, for $34.99 how can you go wrong!! I’ve paid more than that for a cheap dust buster type cordless vacuum LOL

I am very excited as I have wanted one of these Hoover for my collection for a very long time. I always passed on it though as I don’t have many Canister/Cylinder Type vacuums in my collection, plus it was always $100 to $150 bucks.

Dan @danorob1 If you don’t mind me asking do you remember how many business days after you placed your order, did your shipment arrive at your home? I am in Ohio so that might vary from New Jersey.. but I’m SO excited I can’t hardly wait. I think this is the best deal I’ve paid yet for any vacuum when you compare the original retail cost with what I finally paid, AND it’s a brand new vacuum.. Not Factory Blemished or Refurbished. A Brand New Hoover Vacuum for $35 Bucks!! Whooo Hoooo LOL

Lastly, can I ask everyone here for help. I always buy all filters and bags (If Bagged unlike this one) and keep all the extra parts in stock in my home for every vacuum in my collection. I just want to have extra sets of filters so when one set is being washed at the recommend interval, I have an extra dry set to put back into the Vacuum. That way if at any time my husband or someone in the house vacuums with one of them, they are ready to go and not missing filters. Ok, that and I’m just very OCD about my vacuums and I need to have all the parts. You should see the drawers and drawers of brand new filters and belts and extra parts I have in my vacuum room! Anyhow, if anyone knows where to get a complete set of filters for this vacuum, please let me know. Oh and the Brushroll Belt Type/Number??

Thanks guys!!

P.S. I almost forgot so I’m editing my post... Dan, Best wishes for a speedy recovery on your Hip replacement. I did Not mean to be insensitive to your recent surgery and you know how it is with us Vacuum Collectors.. I had one thing on my mind. haha. But seriously, take care and I hope all goes well for you with your new Hip. My Mom has had both hips replaced and did great and feels so much better. Anyhow, thank you Dan for your post, your help and pictures.. Take care!

Hi Jon - I ordered on 10/23 and they arrived on 10/26 -
.
As far as extra filters, I wish I could help - I won a set of two on an e-bay auction, but when they arrived they were incorrect and did not match the listing which was for the correct filters - They were very sorry about the issue and refunded my money back and told me to keep the wrong filters which fit nothing I have !!!
.
Evidently they mixed up shipments and have no more to send - If you find any, let me know where - Here is the link to the auction I won so you can see the item numbers on the picture -

I'm pathetic

I don't even want one of these.
If I had one, I wouldn't want to use it, just keep it in the box.
I have no room for another vacuum to sit around and not be used.

You guessed it...I just ordered one!
Seemed like a price that was not to be passed up.
What's wrong with me?!

Barry

Honestly, I don't know if I'll even take it out of the box.
After ordering it, I decided to see what it sells for elsewhere.
On Amazon, it's a little under $100.
Then, I started reading the reviews.
It sounds like, if I was to open it and turn it on, it might break.

Barry

Hi Bill - Not a problem - I understand being cautious - To be honest, their descriptions are not that great - The PC Plain Carton version is basically shipped double cartoned so I think it will hold up better in the hands of FedEx Ground !!!!
.
I had to do a lot of research because when I got the two Air Revolves, I also picked up the dirt Devil stick with the dual power heads - One for rugs, and one for stairs and upholstery... It took half an out of looking up the model numbers on the web to find out what was really included... Again - They need to work on the description of "what is included" as they are not very accurate, but fortunately you usually get more then they state...
.
And Barry - As you are a collector, I would not worry about it holding up - It is not that badly built - Like I said, just clunky with large attachments -
.
Dan
