Hoover 86 Constellation with Braided Hose?

Here is an unusual Constellation with a very nice Eureka-style braided hose. Would this be a replacement hose cobbled together by some vac shop? Or did Hoover sell Constellations at one point with braided hoses? Curious about this, friends....see link below....

I can assure you,

THAT is NOT a genuine HOOVER hose. It WAS "Ultraflex", and has been retrofitted w/ that bojack braided hose!!
I KNOW the great Tom Anderson and a host of others would, and can attest to that.
You can also tell by thew "ends". They were removed and re-attached. There is a strange bulge there. And, you don't want a "strange" bulge. Nuff said about THAT. lol
