what kind of spray paint did u use?....seeing yours i want to re do my metal hooded model 28. yours looks DIVINE!!!

I used Bondo Glazing and Spot Putty to fill in all the scratches then sanded that smooth taped off the gold pin stripping primed it with Rust-Oleum Clean Metal Primer then followed up with Rust-Oleum Satin Dark Brown. There is a color difference between the new paint and the old paint, but not enough to bug me. And it looks 100% better. I treated the same as you would a auto body.

well Eric....

i did my metal hooded 28 hood, and i did the base on both. believe it or not i found a almost factory IDENTICAL base color!!!!!!...YAY!! its is Rustolem Nutmeg in a satin finish....and i did my base the same way you did the hood with the same primer....anf this is what i got..=)
