Can any of you Hoover experts (I mean that sincerely) guide me on a "gasket" that goes between the machine and the collar on the bag? And if it does not use a gasket, WHAT goes there? I have two of these machines now and both belch dust out the fitting at the bottom of the bag. I have rigged it with all sorts of things trying to duplicate a gasket inside the bag collar. Also, the spare one I have has a "c" bag conversion in it. Was this a standard replacement or something someone rigged up?
Would like to hear about other model # 115's. Seems to be a great little machine for "brushing" up the carpets in between!

I have 2, I'll look at them better later.

The little "apartment vac" use a "C" bag, and always did. The fill tube, bellows, etc.....are all for a "C" bag, with the vinyl outer jacket.
However, the model 115 took a cloth "shakeout bag"; brown. Later, of course, the replacement 'gray' bag w/ red Hoover logo. I'll look at mine tonight and tell you what is there. Hope I can help.
John. (not sure how much of an 'expert' I am, but.... I DO have a FEW Hoover items.)
