I keep trying! That 541 you had for sale slipped by me when I was at my in-law's where my internet connection stunk....otherwise, I would have given the winning bidder a run for his/her money....we'll see how this one goes.....never owned a singer that old before!

I love my R-1. It has the backwards revolving brush roller in it, so it won't seize the fringe of area rugs. Stan Kann gave me the one I currently have on display at the Vacuum Museum.
