help on hoover 6525C wiring

hey guys, my friend in the czech republic has a hoover 6525C and hes removed the suppressor, and hes having issues with his hoover senior after removing the suppressor as it was a paper suppressor, can you guys help him?

Hoover Senior 6525C removing the supressor

Tell your friend to remove all the additional wires he made, they're causing a short circuit.

This is how it's done properly on a 6525C. All you need to do is to just remove the supressor capacitor and disconnect it from the circuit. That's it, as simple as that.

Btw

It is absolutely normal and fine that on the other side where the other carbon brush contact is, that there's just 1 yellow wire going to it. That's how it's supposed to be.

The motor is wired in a series configuration where the stator and commutator are connected in series.
