Saw that one
Was wondering if the hose will fit the XXX 49er's
Light perhaps in 54' when selling to the lady that had to carry it up the stairs
I remember finding one like that upstairs in the closet
Used it once
Remember the snorkel & thought it odd but don't think it was that one as I think it had red or yellow writing on it.
That one almost looks normal to me.
Still for the life of me can't remember which one I had.
It was left in the apt I rented in NYC
Someone came looking for it
said the tenant left it for them
I said what vacuum?
When you vacate an apt & you leave anything
it is no longer your possession & you can't gift it to someone else...LOL
It was reconditioned I rememeber that
It was tannish if I recall & now I'm not even sure
as it could also have been grey
Had wheels
Had the newer style floor tool but I remember it being more metal...
OOOH what was it
I still regret leaving it behind but I couldn't take everything across the country with me.

Still can't see picking it up with one finger as it must weigh close to 20 lbs.
Maybe she has a 8 lb Oreck...

Metal handle was severed in half
Guess someone vacuumed too hard

I like em heavy
The more metal the better

Except metal rusts
plastic does not rust
but it deteriorates in its own way
It cracks from use & generally gets brittle with heat & age.
