It's a Tacony Product

It's actually a Tacony product manufactured specifically for Handy Andy's Vacuum Store in New Bedford, Mass. There was an earlier thread where this was discussed, along with custom coloring of the Riccar and Simplicity products.

Is there a Riccar or Simplicity counterpart to this vacuum?

That same vacuum is available today as the Carpet Pro. The new "Handy Andy" vacuum is the Riccar 8925, with custom paint and graphics, but internally still an 8925 Riccar.
