Half of a Kirby 1-C find

I found this 1935 Kirby C on ebay, and it is in really nice shape, besides missing the bag, handle assemble, roller brush, and power cord. Oh, what a world, what a world, and that is how the cookie crumbles!

Nice.

This is the first Kirby. it dates back to 1935. I also have one, shown below third fron the left, it purrs like a kitten. We'll have to find you a bag, cord, and handle, and roller brush.

I know what you mean.

I wonna kinda Think it was put in a glass display case at a vacuum repair shop for years - right under the cash register.

Cut and buffed

and all murphied up. It looks pretty clean now. Oh, a Kirby 512 roller brush works well as a replacement brush, as I just found out.
