from eBay.  I've been looking for one of these for a while, and found this one.  It is brand new in the box.  I can't wait to play with it this week-end.  Wonder which of my vacuums, will come out the strongest?  We shall soon see!  :-)

love those things

i use mine all the time...strongest machine ive had in the store, suction wise has been a tri-star that pulled 85, a dyson can pull almost 75...the '39 xxx e-lux pulls 40...an old silver queen canister also will pull almost 70..

how much was your on ebay?

also, do not drop them, i have broken two since i started working at the vac shop

Thanks Steve

I paid $20 for it brand new in box.  I'm gonna try it out on the following vacuums this week-end and see what happens:

Electrolux XXX

Electrolux Silverado Deluxe

Hoover Constellation 86

Compact C2

Rainbow D2

Filter Queen Princess II

Kenmore canister (early 60s)

I'm betting the Filter Queen and the Compact will blow (or is that suck? ) the rest away.  :-)

Filter Queen,,,

Should be in the 95 to 100 range if its right, a c-2 Compact wont be as strong as the later ones because the motors changed several times thruout the 50s and 60s.

20 bucks is a steal

those are 40 from essco....just had a dyson pull 105...sounds like its about to explode...ive heard some motors get stronger right before dying..any truth to that????
