WOW,,beautiful job! Looks really sharp,,like it jumped right out of 1975!
This is the EXACT machine my Grandmother bought in April or May of 1976. Only difference i can tell is that the PN plug on the PN was skinnier, but that is the exact machine, hose and PN,,with the 50th Jubilee stickers and all.
Jeesh, that machine brings back fond memories,,i was just a kid then, and dreamed of owning this machine.
Then when my Grandma actually bought one, unbenounced to me, didnt know she was thinking of buying one,,,i couldnt WAIT to get to Grandma's that summer to see and use the new Electrolux! Was one of the biggest thrills of my childhood! ( vacuum crazy kid)
My Grandparents were not rich, and a machine of this type was considered a definate luxury to them. I want to say it was around 450.00 new.
She did not buy the rug shampooer with it.
This lux was one of her prized posessions,,she was proud of that Electrolux.
Yes, when we were cleaning out her house after she passed,,i took the Lux.
Still have it,,always will.
