Hello, i'm new here so go easy! Don't have anywhere near the knowledge of some of you guys by the looks of stuff, but recently i've had the above in for repair and needing a new motor. Now, on the machine it says 900w, but I can only find replacement motors of 1000w. Time again I end up with the same motor but it looks ever so slightly different to the one I have removed. Can anyone share a little bit of knowledge? Many thanks!

Aside from answering the question, I am astounded to think that any customer would ever wish to pay the price associated with supplying and fitting a new motor for an Aquavac, when a replacement machine (albeit not Aquavac) can be sourced for under £40. If it's a 900w motor in the cleaner then it's going to be reasonably old too.

It's for a friend who collects hoovers, so i'm sure it's worth fixing to him :)

It's all in bits now, 8502 is the model number, type goblin aquavac 8502a in to Google images and it looks exactly the same as those drawings (the smaller version)
