Excellent!

The before and after pictures are stunning. Not many brands can be put through that abuse and turn out like this one. Kirby ought to feature this on its website!

My Oh My!!!

Sean, your Ultimate G turned out fantastic! Not many people would attempt to save a machine in that shape anymore. Just think, you not only gave that Kirby many more years of useful life, you also saved waste from the landfill and reduced emissions for all of us. Not to mention the dollars you saved can be spent here in America. So I would say our "weird" little vacuum collecting/restoration hobby is a great big win-win situation for all concerned. If only more people would lose the buy-break-buy again mentality and save for a quality item, care for that item, live with and repair that item, maybe we could stop this plastic rush of destruction to the dump-ground! Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now, strap on my pumps and continue vacuuming.

Kudos Sean, You do excellent work. Enjoy your Kirby and Vacuum on! Russ

You did a awesome Job!! Kirbys can be a bit of a chore to work on but they are great machines. You got it for the right price too. :)

Yee ha!

That machine came out really nice, sounds great too.

For Admin-
Not to be too OCD or anything but now that we know the vintage of the machine shouldn't this thread be moved? Is the entire G Series even 20 years old yet? Or am i confussed again, that happens sometimes..

This makes me feel lazy lol .. My Ultimate G is in bad shape compared to this one lol .. Guess it needs cleaned up soon. What did you use to get the shine?
