G series hose question

Is there a way to remove the hose from the emptor and bag end without ripping the ends of the filler hose?

If you mean the fill tube inside the bag, the answer is, not really. My experience with fill tubes is that they are pretty much an expendable item that requires periodic replacement anyway. The ones I've worked on are sealed on at the factory with a sort of shrink tubing, done with heat. They often have zip ties on underneath. If you replace a fill tube yourself, make sure all the fittings are clean before you start with the new one. You can use zip ties to clamp them in place on each end but be sure to also seal that over with something like Teflon tape to proof against dust 100%. Situate the zip tie fastner so that when you cut off the excess, the sharp end doesn't poke or wear a hole in the inner or outer bag. You can usually get a new replacement fill tube for about $4.50 or thereabouts. I think that's about what I paid Hesco last time I bought some.

For the old-style filltube (with the wire coil inside it):

Unscrew it, simples...
When re-fitting, apply a little silicone sealant to the threading on the emtor and the bag adaptor to prevent any leaks, and apply a couple of zip-ties at both ends...


For the Snap-type crush-proof filltube:

Cut the zip ties and pull off, refitting is the reverse, just push it on until it "snaps" in place and apply a couple of zip-ties at both ends...
