One of the nicer things about working at America's only Vacuum Cleaner Museum, is coming to work and finding treasures sitting right outside the doors. This morning, I came to work and found these Kenmore cleaners waiting for me. I don't know who game them to me, or where they came from. The PowerMate canister is awesome. It's a 1969 model, one down from the SEARS BEST (this one has no performance indicator light). It's a 2 speed model, spotless and clean. It was used, but not much. The floor polisher/shampooer came with its original box and book plus all the brushes.
I'm indeed blessed that people are always donating old cleaners to the Museum. Many are gifted to other vacuum collectors who visit the Vacuum Cleaner Museum during the year. At convention time, most of my friends leave with some machine from the Museum.
