Hello!
Just wanted to share about my most recent project, a 1996 Hoover futura. I’ve had this one sitting in the corner of my shop with the rest of my broken vacuums. I felt sorry for it. So naturally I did what any smart person would do! I bought all the parts it needed (which cost over 2x what I paid for the vacuum) and now she purrs like a kitten! I’m so glad I finally finished fixing this Hoover. Also quick question, I tried 3d printing motor mounts for this model multiple times. Every time I tried they never worked, has anyone ever succeeded with this? Thanks.

Pretty sure the motor mounts you need are on eBay. I am not an expert at 3D printing but the type of plastic used and type of 3D printer affect whether or not your parts can take the kinds of forces a vacuum cleaner subjects them too. The 3D printers I have seen making commercial / military quadcopters are the size of a double door refrigerator and cost as much as a car, but the resulting parts are very strong. A desktop 3D printer isn't going to match that level of quality.
