I have a generic shake out bag on for my Hoover 61 and both my 63s were they available for the 61 for commercial service as I understand via service manual from 1953 there were available for commercial service for the the 63.

Thank you very much for your input

That heater is gorgeous John!!  Do you have any "portable" heaters like the one I posted about in the Household forum yesterday?

"there are only real "Hoover" hoovers, no other

Sounds good to me!

Tom "A". pointed out to me that a lot of my

polishers were made in the 50s...even the 28 was continued.....was then used as a "commercial" upright vacuum.
I'll get them all out as well as the other uprights of the fifties.
I'm glad you're enjoying this sentimental journey through the world of Hoover.
Of course, it's all I have and all I care to collect.
Some like a bigger variety. To me: there is a ton of variety right here within the realm of all these HOOVERS. [this post was last edited: 5/11/2015-15:07]

I agree completely. You should collect what you like. You're the one who has to live with your collection. There are a lot of vacuums that I like that I will never collect. I'm content seeing other's collections virtually. Certainly those of you who have mini-meets get the benefit of testing out others toys without having to own them.

As with every collection.......................

We are the ones who like them,  buy them, trade them,  repair them (or have them repaired),  gift them,  sell them,  trade them,  etc.

And, if we're so inclined,  we host gatherings, "mini meets".  We are the ones who invite, or not people we want to welcome into our homes. I've welcomed people with other vacuum makers into my home numerous times.  I will continue to do so.  Many come again and again.  Some will not return.  I've made some very loyal friends in here. Some demonstrate their loyalty over and over.  Some  do not, sadly.  Loyalty to a friend,  a manufacturer,  is paramount.  Don't you think?
