So over the weekend I picked up a $95 Eureka Airspeed Ultra to review for my youtube channel, what my plan was, is to use it for a week, make a review video and decide if I liked it or not. To be honest it has some great things like good carpet cleaning (for a box store vacuum) but the high efficency cyclone lets a lot of fine dust go into the (only) filter so I think I will return it and replace it with an equally inexpensive Hoover model like a windtunnel 2 high capacity or the nib $99 Windtunnel Max at my local Big Lots. Which ever model I do end up with is going to be babyed to keep it running as long as possible. What I would like to know is if anyone has had personal experiance with one or both of these Hoovers or if you have a repair shop if one of the Hoovers have any noteable issues to look out for, I was looking into the duel cyclonic vacuums only because I have taken apart the cyclone assembly and know how to clean them out down the road but that will not keep me from looking at the max. So what are your recommendations and any other info,
Thanks,Mark

I owned a hoover max for a couple of years, and I really liked it. For one thing, the cord and hose were both very long, it cleaned very well, and was overall easy to use. I can also say that it's multi cyclone system works better than hoover's dual cyclone systems, keeping it's filter cleaner for longer. Plus, the multi cyclone system is not very dificult to disassemble and I did it several times myself.

I complete agree about the MAX. I've had one for several years as well. The Multi-Cyclonic filtration system is indeed FAR better than Hoover's flawed dual cyclonic system. The suction is excellent, and I have had no durability issues. Get the MAX and you'll be happy with it.

What about the Multi Cyclonic, Zen Whisper Cyclonic & WindTunnel Air canisters? How good are they; & which one should I go for?

Or should I go for the QuietForce canister?

Will there ever be a WindTunnel MAX canister?

How is the agitation with the Max, also how does the cyclonic assembly come apart does it just have screws and seals or is it like a dyson in the fact that it pops apart at a certain point?

Really, all I can say about the agitation is that the max has alot of long somewhat stiff brisles which do a really good job cleaning and grooming the carpet. The cyclone assembly comes partially apart with a twist lock and the rest of the way with a few screws. Far easier than most dyson cyclones.

Thanks

I picked up the MAX and used it once, pleasantly suprised seems to be a nice vacuum as far as bagless vacuums go. Probably not going to be able to use it till the weekend so I'll post a video of it then(not more than a single user review on youtube).
