Hey everyone.

I've got my hands on this little Filter Queen here that I know nothing about. All I know is that these are(were) expensive. It runs and everything, just doesn't have the attachments. As cool as it is, I'd like to know the value of it so I can pass it on to someone else who can actually appreciate it. If anything, I'd even go low if they can really get some use out of it.

From what I can tell, it's a model 500, right? I can take more pictures of whatever needs to be taken.

It's NOT a model 500. Those were made from 1955 - 1960. YOURS was made in the late 1970's. I saw one on eBay that got listed three times. $50.

Hi there.
That looks like a late 70's-very early 80's Filter Queen Model 31.
You can find the model number by removing the twist cap on top (under the handle-where the blower port is) and printed on the bottom of the blower port ( it's a ring shaped metal label) will be the serial numbers, patients etc, but in a prominent rectangle on the "label" will be your model number.
I can post pictures later on for guidance if you need.
I would almost bet the farm that it's a model 31.
Good luck with your filter queen.
P.S. I have always liked that Sandlewood color but I have never understood why they never made a chrome one with red trim- on that design that would have made a cool vacuum. I guess we got stuck with brown, gold, monarch gold and last but not lease Sandlewood. The newer ones are chrome and black. But I digress- Good luck with your FQ. You should be able to net 30-40 if you put it on CL.
Good luck,
Derek
