Welcome aboard Doug! With you being a retired Hoover Company worker, I'll bet you have some interesting stories to tell, and we're all ears! We may have actually met about 17 years ago, as the VCCC had their 2008 Convention in Canton, with a big part of it taking place at Hoover Park and the Hoover Historical Center in celebration of Hoover's 100th Birthday.
Your Grandmother's model 94 Electro-Hygiene is a pre-war machine and would have been built between either 1937 or 38 through 1942, when all (or most) US manufacturers switched over for production of war equipment and materials. I am also in Ohio, having grown up in Mansfield and living in Galion since 1981.
