I found this in my thrift store browsing. The accessories were stored in the back, so I didn't realize it came with everything.

Even more remarkable, it has the original manufacturers material and advertisements from Westinghouse.

The bags are marked 10 cents.

The unit was purchased 1969 for $190 ($100 cash $90 in check).

The only problems are a cracked crevice accessory, a float ball that clearly has lost its float, and a mysterious black goo coming out of the rim of the hose that has dripped on the vacuum exhaust. Not sure what that's about...

And of course, it works!

Eventually it'll find its way on ebay, but I haven't tested the floor polisher attachment yet.

Quite the find!!

I wondered about the 'Westinghouse' thing, but now I see they bought Westinghouse bags and not Fairfax bags. Nice find. The S-1 was made for a long time, starting in 1962.

I wouldn't be surprized if the two companies had some kind of relationship, like Panasonic and Kenmore. Westinghouse was a huge company back in the day.
