My aunt got me a Eureka Victory World Vac Mega Boss vacuum today for $6.00. It seems that the previous owner used it a few times then the belt broke and they stuck it away somewhere as it was covered with dust but inside the bag chamber and the brushroll were vertually spotless. I gave it the spa treatment tonight and it seems to work well I like the top fill bag design but im not sure how to date this vacuum. Its all genuine orig. Eureka parts. I like the 15 inch cleaning path, and the hose suction is decent. It doesnt seem to have the umph when it comes to sticking to the carpet like my Elite but I enjoy the quiet sound of the vac and the very tippy top fill bag design. Pics to follow as soon as I get the camera hooked up to the new laptop...

Probaly doesn't stick to the carpet like an Elite, because the Elite is fan first and the Victory is clean air.

I do like the carrying hadle, the shape of the "back saver handle", the foot pedal power switch (though they frequently stick), the ease of the height adjust knob, and the overall look for a modern plastic vacuum. The brushroll is nothing special, very basic.
