Im putting this under the 90s category since the design technically originated at the end of the 90s. But Iused to see this image of a Eureka "Victory" The Boss labeled the Enviro Vac. I knew the late 90s and early 2000s had a sort of a translucent craze going on with all sorts of things like computers and other vacuums but this is the only Eureka I've ever seen with a translucent bag door. Pretty cool looking! Anyone have this particular victory.

I did,

I had a similar model to yours, maybe a model year before yours. Someone had placed it out on the sidewalk for curbside pickup. It was a clear teal color and with the sun shining down on it, it was a real looker! Snapped it up and when I powered it up it roared from a case of very worn bearings. Loud! Should have kept it but had too many others ahead of it needing TLC.

That model of yours looks like a wide path, I know mine had a standard 12" roller. They have a good feel to them when you vacuum, a little heavy but they make good contact with the carpet. Good suction at the hose. Enjoy!

I actually dont have this one!

But id certainly like too! This is only just an image that used to be on Amazon. I go to the Thrift Stores to look for interesting units like this, mostly for Hoovers, but lately theyve had absolutely NOTHING at any of them. Hope more stuff comes in soon!

Reminds me of.....

Sebo made an upright that was clear plastic. Maybe just the bag door or the whole thing. I think it was made for dealers to demonstrate its inner workings.

I have a friend who always wanted one. I think she said they may very few of them and as I said, were targeted for dealers.

Anyone?

Unfortunately I do not but I absolutely would love to own one. And I have heard of Bernina but NEVER did I see that one, that's a cool color for a translucent machine! Who makes Bernina?

I don't own either machine but I'd love to find this bagless version called the Whirlwind Big Cup someday. And I just found the pictures online. Another clear vacuum you ought to consider finding for your collection is a Miele:)
