My grandma had a Eureka Rally canister, and I would like to find some pictures of it. it had a green underside, the top half was white, and it had a red switch. I don't think the machine had a powernozzle, but from what I remember the vacuum was very beat up.

I have seen one of those recently. Vacomatic from St. Louis has one but his does have a power nozzle in white with the green trim. Sadly I don't have a picture of it but maybe he can post of if he reads this

Yes, there was at least one other variation. The apartments where my Dad worked had a red and black one: black base and buttons, red top and bag door. It was also very beat up, no power nozzle or attachments. It had been left in an apartment after the tenants moved out, and my dad (maintenance) used it for edges and heat ducts. The switch was completely shot (on all the time) but It ran fine and had good suction.

In Canada, we had a lovely black suction only Rally Boss that was sold at the Eaton's Department Stores. It was great because it had a nice long lightweight 7 foot hose, chrome hose handle and wands, and a nice Eureka carpet nozzle and separate floor brush.
Just a basic simple old fashioned canister machine that was really powerful and lightweight.
Best thing about the Rallys: The cord exited the body from the top of the machine making it really easy to pull out and control when retracting!
The Rally was basically a cheaper version of the fancier Eureka Express that came before it.....

Indeed I do have as Phillip mentioned above, a Eureka Express canister, white with green trim, green on/off/cordwinder buttons, and has the deluxe power nozzle with the vibragroomer III brushroll and light bar across the front. It does have the deluxe handle on the hose with on/off switch for the brushroll. It's quite a performer, although still prefer the previous metal Eurekas in the brandywine color series. I have the tol canned ham version as well as the one right under that model, both with vibragroomer I brushrolls. Eurekas shined in performance and reliability during that period.
