I attached a picture of a alpaca or emu wasn't about to go on to private property knowing there unpredictable and there owners could be Harry krishna's and think their holy beings. In case anyone might be wondering, this little Princess was very popular, but may have been too wide to sit properly on a stair. And you could not stand it on it’s backside for stair cleaning. This is why Eureka introduced the larger Prince canister about a year or two after the Princess debuted. You could stand the Prince on its backside so that it could sit safely on a stair step.

That’s fascinating….thanks Paul! I remember seeing ads for toy Eureka uprights being offered as a promotion, but never little girls’ dolls.

I wonder why there was never a Eureka Prince doll….😁

After all, Barbie had her “Ken”………

You're welcome, Brian!

I did search for a "Eureka Prince" doll, but came up short. The dolls were apparently only marketed in late 1967 according to newspaper ads anyway, so by then the 'Prince' moniker had been discontinued; although, the cleaner itself was made for another 5 years or so. Too bad the concept hadn't been devised earlier!

I did locate some other online photos of Eureka toys:

1-2. The ESP Play Vac

3. The Princess Play Vacuum

4-6. The Toy Truck
