Hi, I just got a Vintage Eureka model 2085A, I guess early 70's. With the cordaway. Does anyone know where I can get a "box top" outer vacuum bag for it so it can look original. Even if its in poor shape, does anyone have one to sell? Know where I can get it? Where to look besides ebay and vacpartsplus and hescoinc?

I also got a hand held Eureka Model 150-AT, uses style bag "E or E & R". Anyone have a pack I can buy?

I also got the stick vac by Eureka but found bags for it.

Any help would be very appreciated, you can also email me directly at: [email protected] if its easier. Thanks.

Hi there....

Actually that Eureka Cordaway upright dates to about 1976. It is actually a reissue of one that was a metal based in gold and white. It is mechanically the same, and same features, but redone in the blue, and plastic base instead of the metal base, but same model number. Box top bags are next to impossible to come by, but keep looking, you never know!
Hope this helps,
Phillip

Nice set of original upright attachments! With the tool carrier!

The stick vac needs an original Eureka carpet nozzle, but you can attach the bare floor brush from your upright's attachment set, to do bare floors only. The black attachment on the stick vac is not original....hope it's not permanently glued on!

I had that model. It did come with a box top bag. It was white with a pattern in it. Ebay actually has a vinyl bag with the pattern in it like the original, BUT it is not a box top.....with that said, I did find a box top to fit mine on ebay several years back, so keep checking ebay, you never know when one will pop up.

Sincerely,

Bud
