Its finally done, Found this on craigs list for 15 bucks and had all the attachments and such. Needed all kinds of cleaning. I repainted the hood. Which I have done better but didnt feel like resanding it and all. The two belts I put on broke it does work but the belts were really old and now I am out of them. =(

I used the home care belt for the hoover 48
2 for a $1 at the 99 cents store
works well
 
I have that exact same Eureka! In fact, it was my first vacuum in my collection. It's great that it came with tools. I am definitely very partial to this particular model because both of my aunts had this same model when I was a kid. I remember going to my aunt Laura's and her letting me use it.

I have become sort of a collector of these now. I think its just because of there are so many of them maybe.
