Estate sale finds!

Pat and John were up visiting from Milwaukee this weekend, we hit a few sales... Found two vacs at one sale, both in the garage. A Westinghouse tank - as seen in the famous "I Love Lucy" episode 'Sales Resistance'... Machine only; here's a before picture.

Here's an after picture.

Replaced the cord, added a switch (one was missing), rebuilt the motor quickly this morning and gave it a good wipe-down. It's still kind of rough, but runs beautifully.

Have a bojack hose from a different WH that uses the same connector.. Also have a few tools.. Enough to make it work.

Also, a totally complete but completely filthy model 1149 Dial-A-Matic... It's a hot mess, but hopefully it will clean up nicely. Got both machines for $5!
